Christmas Card Photo Shoot Attempt

So we were all excited about getting a family photo shot for our Christmas card this year. While viewing these photos remember the age of our kids...3,2, & 2 months. It started off bad and ended with peeing in the pond and running after geese. All in all, we had a great time in the end, but no photo for the Christmas card. So if you all don't get a Christmas card from us this year, you'll know why.

Notice how nice this shot could have been....the nice
rocks and waterfall in the background.

A different location wasn't the answer to a better family shot.

As you can see, we were fed up...but
Jake & Layton got a close up of the ducks.

This is mostly what we saw of Layton as we
tried to corral him back for a photo.

Our event lasted long enough where Jake had to pee
and there were no bathrooms near. I think this picture sums up
our attempt at a family shot that day!

At least we ended on a good note with a run after the geese.

Layton almost caught some.

Now my boys contemplate how the geese got away so fast.
What a great day at the pond?!

A Walk to the Park

I just think it is so cute when kids hold hands.
Here are some shots on our walk to the park
with the boys and Jake's buddy Christopher.

This is how I put the boys when they all want
to swing at the same time....they are almost too
big to share the swing anymore!

Dallin's Special Day

There are many things to be thankful for. It was Thanksgiving when we blessed Dallin. We had lots of family there to share this special time with us. Here are a couple of photos of that day.

Isn't he just so precious!!!
He's laying on the blanket that
both Jake, Layton, and their dad
were blessed in.

This was seriously the best shot that we
could get with all the boys. Yes,
Layton has his Monkey's tail
in his ear....that's what he does!
Letting him have his Monkey was
the only way we could get him to sit still!

We are the proud parents of this sweet Angel!

Here is another attempt to get a family shot...it's the best we got!

Back on the Blogging Trail

Okay, here's the deal. So much has happened in the last month and the reason I haven't posted anything is....well for many reasons..1. I just had a kid 2. sleep isn't happening as often as everyone would want 3. I'm trying to figure out how to manage 3 kids, it is quite the transition from 2 kids to 3 4. I had a trip to the ER...no worries, I'm fine now. 5. It's hard to find the time.

I'm sure I could find more excuses, but I'm back on the band wagon. Here are a bunch of photos that sum up this last month. The big event was Layton's 2nd birthday. We also got a new picture for our living room (ever since we gave away our piano, out living room looked like a hotel lobby), Jake & Layton trick or treating (Layton protested his costume), David and Nanette came to our trunk or treat, the boys at McDonalds (Scott has been taking them there very Saturday since Dallin's been born to give me a break and the kids love it), Craig & Andrea helping the boys carve pumkins, Dana & Nanette (who saved my life for helping me out with my kids the first month after having Dallin), the first snow, Jake & Layton singing Popcorn Popping to Dallin (One of my favorite photos), the boys in daddy's shaving cream AGAIN, and Scott's office. Enjoy the photos!

Welcome Baby Dallin

Dallin Scott Nelson has finally made it. He was born on Friday October 5th, 2007. He was 7 lbs 3 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. He is a sweet baby. Jake & Layton love him so much. They love having a little baby brother. We all love having him in our home.

Dallin was born at the Littleton Hospital.
We were all so excited for him to come.

Minutes after Dallin was born.

Here are my boys!!!
This is Jake & Layton's first look at Dallin.

Here's our first family shot with Dallin.

This is our ride home from the
hospital with all the boys lined up.

Here is Dallin's 1st of many naps to come with his dad.

Dallin's chillin'.

Layton hung out with Dallin for 30 minutes
like this today. I think Dallin never blinked....just stared
at Layton the whole time. Layton had to have his glasses on.
It was so cute!!!

MoTown

Scott calls my home town of Moses Lake...MoTown. Here are a pluthera of photos from our trip. It was such a great time. I loved spending time with my family. We were on the lake boating as often as possible. Jake and Layton loves the water and being in the boat. Scott was able to go wake boarding and lots of tubing with the boys. We spent a lot of time in the back yard too....my parents have this kayak connected to the 4-wheeler as well as a huge slide....the kids loved it. The part I just loved was taking the boys to the Grant County Fair. Enjoy the photos!
