A visit with the Thompsons

On our way to Moses Lake, we stopped at my cousin Kellie's house. My Uncle Rick and Aunt Jakcie were there too. It was great to meet Layne and their boy Owen. They are building their own house so some of the photos are at the construction site. It was so great to see them. Take note of the gorgeous mountains in the background. We are in Alpine Wyoming.

Happy Birthday Jake & David

Here's the celebration of Jake's 3rd birthday and David's 62nd birthday (as you can see on the cake). The theme was "Bob the Builder". Jake loved the cake and it was so hard for him to not just dive into it before it was time to celebrate. We all had a great time. It was great to have Scott, Layton, Nanette, Craig, and Andrea there for the celebration. Oh and that one photo you see me being 8 months prego. Oh ya, and this post is like a month late!

Scott's Long's Peak Hike

Okay so here are a bunch of random photos that Scott took on his Long's Peak Hike. It's one of the famous 14ers here in Colorado. It was a 16 mile round trip hike. He went with a group of guys from our ward at church. They started the hike at 2:30 am....crazy!!! As you can see in the photos, it was chilly and foggy at times. The views were amazing and he had a great time.
