During one of Scott's basketball games his senior year, a photographer took his photo and Scott signed off to let him sell the photos. His photo has been in a Sears magazine, on a book about coaching basketball, and here he is at Dick's sporting good store. The photographer has got good use out of this shot....Scott schooling the dude guarding him...I love it!!!!
Here are Scott and the boys standing in front of it. You can see how huge it is!! 14 years and three kids later!!! Here's a close-up of it. Here's a closer up one of Scott & Scott (& Dallin).
These first two shots of Jake & Layton crack me up!!!
They were lovin the MUD!
Couldn't get them to smile for the life of me...but it looks so funny. Is this brotherly love or what!!!
He's saying.."no mom, not another photo!" We bought this hat for Layt a couple of weeks ago and he hasn't put it down since. Another MUD photo. Even Spiderman plays in the MUD. Just a cute shot. Lovin that hat! Cute feet shot. Dallin...smooth. Another shot of D.
Jake learned to ride his bike without training wheels this summer.
Jake LOVES riding his bike without training wheels. Even when it's freezing outside he still wants to ride that bike. He's even had his first bad wreck, but he shook it off and still loves it. Layton loves riding his bike just as much as Jake.(He still has his training wheels on.) This is our boys and the neighbors kids riding in the cul de sac by our house. The garbage can is in the way, but you will count 5 kids on their bikes with only one on training wheels. It was pretty sketchy...lots of almost running into each other, but everyone was having a blast.
I am so excited for our boys to get into sports. Here are some shots of the kids hitting off the tee. They have horrible form, but I was lovin' every minute of it.
There is nothing like the feeling of a bat in your hands.
I know...he's 6 inches from hitting the ball, but look at that focus. And yes, we have the tomahawk swing....we'll get that smoothed out in a few years. That bat was heavy so Jake couldn't hold the bat like he was suppose to. He was givin the ball a good talking to...it never hurts..right.
Our boys had a great Halloween!!! Here they are checkin out their mustache's in the mirror. Yes, little Jake the elephant had a mustache too. Scott the hippi, Dallin the Tiger, Jake the elephant, and Layton the pirate. Here we are at Dana & Ryan's Halloween Party. We had a blast. Here's Maggie and Layton enjoying the party. Tate, Josh, Scott, Eric, & Millward after the fishing for worms in the whip cream. All my boys trick or treating...as well as cousin Jax...the other pirate. Here's my little Tiger with his daddy. Jax & Layton seein what candy is the best of the stash. All the boys checking out how much candy they got Dallin didn't waste any time...he loves suckers!!!
Our sweet Layton has turned 3!!! We love this little guy so much. He has a very creative personality. He is an awesome little and big brother. Both Jake and Layton love him to pieces. We Love You Layton....Happy Birthday!!!
For his party we hooked up a firetruck through Jason Reynolds and BRE-Realestate. They let you use their firetrucks for birthdays. Layt loves firetrucks so this was perfect for his 3rd birthday. It was a hit. All the kids had a blast. Thanks again Jason!!!
What a handsome little boy!!! All the firetruck gear. Layton with all his friends blowing out the candles. Thanks to BRE-Realestate and our great friend Jason, we were able to have this awesome firetruck at Layton's party. All the kids got to go for a ride....it was sweet. They all had a blast. All of us just watching it go by. There's our stud birthday boy having the time of his life riding on the firetruck. (Awesome shot Scott) The kids were going crazy checking it out. Thanks for all your help Nanner and Papa. Jake & Layton on top of the firetruck. There's all the kids and Dana & Nanette enjoying a ride.
