Day 7

Post Snow Storm

Yes, the next few days after the storm were sunny and warm. The boys had a blast with all the water runoff.

Here's Jake playin' in the gutter.

Jake stripped his pants and shirt and went and got his swim trunks on...yes, that is the snow shovel...I love how kids get creative.

There was a little snow in the grass. Gotta try sledding.

I Turned 30

Layton helped me blow out my candles. My sister-in-law Dana made this cake for me. Thanks Dana, it was delicious!!!

Jake actually took a chunk out of the cake right after this photo was taken.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

We went to Makai Wood's Baseball game. It was such a blast.

Here we are watching the game, but that didn't last very long.

Here's a shot of Makai tagging up...you can see the center fielder just catching the ball ready to try to thow him out at home...of course Makai was faster!!!

Okay, so back up a day before the big snow storm that I posted about yesterday. This is what it started out as...rain. Then turned into lots and lots of snow. Enough for the boys to go sledding...it was such a fun time.

Dallin was just roaming the yard in the rain...funny kid.

Here's Jake and Layton "mowing" the lawn in the rain.

Before long the rain turned to snow and we made our own little snowman...very ugly at that...he's got big cheeks...kinda looks like he has a frog face...anyways...we had a blast making him.

Between Layton kicking the snowman....

And Jake eating the snowman, he didn't have a chance to live long...he was gone before the night was through.

I love how many snow fakes you can see....it was snowing like crazy.

You can't really tell, but Jake is going down this steep hill right for me and one second after I took this shot, I had to jump out of the way. The things I do to try to get a good shot!!!
